Our latest Top Pick Event in Thailand is the Hua Hin Cycling Classic 2013. This 2-day event includes a Road Bike race on Saturday (Dec 7) and a Mountain Bike race on Sunday (Dec 8). The Hua Hin city venue is a popular coastal getaway for Bangkok residents as well as many international tourists and visitors. The Road Bike race will have riders starting at the city’s clock tower and racing West out of town past pineapple fields and mountain scenery before finishing up a steep climb that is popular with local cycling clubs. The Mountain Bike race will be held on the grounds of the Hua Hin Shooting Club (don’t worry, no shooters on Sunday) in the Bo Fai area, just North of Hua Hin city center. Read about the 2010 edition of this event here. Don’t fancy racing? Maybe you’d rather book a fully-supported day tour in Hua Hin instead. Or, enjoy one of the popular road bike routes in Hua Hin at your own pace. View this and other great cycling events in Thailand on our EVENTS calendar page.
