Angkor Wat Bike4Kids 2014. This charitable bike event is now in its ninth year, and will take place on Saturday 6th December 2014 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Angkor Wat Bike4Kids! Event is organized by Village Focus International (VFI) and Terre Des Hommes – Netherlands (TDH-NL) and hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia. We encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to cycle through the beautiful temple complex of Angkor Wat to help raise funds for local charities that provide life-changing support to vulnerable children and survivors of human trafficking. 12 – 14 Friday thru Sunday: Nakhon Ratchasima

Tour de Farm 4. 100km FEARLESS ROAD RACE event (Dec 13th) put on by Chok Chai Farms, which draws 1,000+ riders. This year’s event will be an entire weekend of activities, including a shorter (60km) ‘Going Greener’ road bike race (Dec 14th), a DIRT & DUST MTB race (Dec 13th), and a TOUGH RUN Challenge (Dec 14th). 5th Bangkok Criterium. 25 km Criterium race, messenger race, trick show, bike market, car show, and 250m drag thunder race. 13 – 14 Saturday & Sunday: Phrae

Phrae Drift King 1st Championship. This Championship will include three separate competitions: King of Fast (with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies awarded), King of Drift (only 1 trophy awarded), and Group of Drift (only 1 trophy awarded). Registration fee of 500 THB includes T-shirt, race badge number, breakfast, lunch and dinner for one day. Water and ice will be free to all competitors throughout the event. Rules of the competition will be given out on December 13th. Registration open all day on December 13th and practice runs of the course can be done on the same day from 9am until 5pm (0900-1700). Official race will be held on the 14th starting at 9am. Party and awards presentation will be had at conclusion race, about 5pm. 14 – Sunday: CAMBODIA

Smart Cambodia Mountain Bikes Series 2014. Location: Kirirom National Park, Cambodia. A great location up in the mountains, similar to Khao Yai in Thailand. 18 – Thursday: Prachuap Khiri Khan

Border to Beach Odyssey of Endurance. For some free fun you are invited to join the 8th annual Burma to Beach Bike Ride on Thursday, 18 December. This is your opportunity to ride completely across Thailand just for the fun of it. The trip begins at the Singkhon Border Checkpoint near the city of Prachuap Khirikhan and from there it is just 21 kilometers to the beach at Ao Manao. Location: Singkhon Border Checkpoint, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Distance: 21 km. Categories: Everyone is welcome. Good idea to be there long before then to browse the many shops & stalls where the Burmese sell orchids, emeralds and lots of other stuff. Bike for Elephants. Charity bike ride. Two days of adventurous and fun biking along the River Kwai, through the mountains and forest of Kanchanaburi, to support the Asian elephant! Location: Mueang, Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi province. Fee: 8,500 THB. The costs of the event, 3,500 baht includes mountain bike, helmet and water bottle and each participant must raise a minimum of 5,000 baht to support the conservation work for wild elephants. February 2015

5 – 8 Thursday thru Sunday: Bangkok

BIKE SHOW at Asiatique. Come and join in cycling lifestyle, social, fun, pleasure, and entertainment. Location: Asiatique The Riverfront Park A-B, Wat Phraya Krai, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok. Time: every day from 3pm until 11:30pm (1500-2330). View event poster.

7 – 8 Saturday & Sunday: Chiang Mai

BHHB Chiang Mai Outhash 2015. Location: Riding area will be south west of Chiang Mai city, Chiang Mai province. The area is largely hilly but the routes have very little of the steep down hills that you might expect on Doi Suthep, to the north. If you come, you can expect some great views, a variety of terrain and tracks, a river crossing, forests, rice fields, single track both up and down, some fast and technical, lots of false trails and checks. Distances: Saturday ride is 52km with 630m climb/descent with about 25% of the route on single tracks. Sunday ride to be around 25km, it includes some steep climbs and descents and about 25% of the route on single track the rest on dirt roads. Hotel and registration: The planned resort, Huarn Jana’ is 12km from the Chiang Mai airport. Interested riders should complete this form so organizer can have an idea of how many riders to plan for.

7 – Saturday: Chonburi

Pattaya Family Bike Day 2015. Be sure to come join us for another fun filled cycling adventure at Thai Polo & Equestrian Club. There will be an off road ride for everyone: A short trail for young children; 8km ride for older children; 15km ride; and a 30 km ride. The 2015 event will be held in the afternoon ending with a sunset buffet dinner. Participants will also be able to enjoy food and beverage stalls, children’s activities and displays by our sponsors throughout the afternoon. 13 – 22 Friday thru Sunday: Bangkok to Phuket

Ride with Irish pro cycling champion Sean Kelly from Bangkok to Phuket. SpiceRoads Cycle Tours is pleased to announce that legendary pro cycling champion Sean Kelly will be returning to Thailand on a SpiceRoads tour from Bangkok to Phuket, Thailand. Distance: 924km in eight cycling days. This special road bike tour is designed for cyclists who want to push themselves and at the same time have an opportunity to ride with a former professional cyclist. The Ride with Sean Kelly tour cost is US$3,000 and will be fully supported by air-conditioned vehicles, with water, sports drinks and snacks provided during the ride. Riders can bring their own bikes, or rent a Trek Domane 2.3 road bike from SpiceRoads for US$250, or a carbon Trek Emonda S5 for US$350. 14 – 20 Saturday thru Friday: Singapore to Krabi Thailand

The Singapore to Krabi Mad Dog Challenge. This is a long distance challenge event which begins at the Singapore border in Johor Bahru, Malaysia and then finishes in Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand. Fee: US$1,950 – US$2,100, Single supplement of US$250 applies if you do not want to be paired with another rider of the same gender. Group discounts available. Fee includes support vehicles, mechanic, accommodation, refreshments and more. Categories: All participants must be over 18 years of age. Men and women ride together. 8th Annual Conquer Doi Inthanon Ride. This ride/race, which ascends Thailand’s highest peak (2,565m), has 2 starting locations depending on the distance and category you choose. One starting point is the Doi Inthanon National Park headquarters (16 km distance) and the other starting point is at Wat Phra That Si Chom Thong (50 km distance). Location: Chom Thong, Chiang Mai province. Categories: several categories for age groups, bicycle type (and tire size), and male/female participants. Range of distances: Category B (16km Mountain Tour – released at 9:00am), and Category A (50km Mountain Challenge – released at 7:10am).
