September 27 – October 4 Saturday thru Saturday: Hanoi Vietnam to Bangkok Thailand

The Hanoi to Bangkok Mad Dog Challenge. Road, Long Distance Challenge, Supported. This is a long distance challenge event which begins in Hanoi and then passes through Laos before finishing in Bangkok. Fee: US$2,250 – US$2,350, Single supplement applies – please enquire. 2 – 5 Thursday thru Sunday: Nonthaburi

Bangkok Bike Expo 2014. Organized by NCC Exhibition Organizers. Location: Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, Exhibition Halls 3 & 4, Nonthaburi province. This four-day event will highlight the following: promote exercise through cycling, create business opportunities for bikes, promote the sport of cycling in Thailand, create a good image of cycling in the community. Bicycle retailer and distributor booths will be on display. This expo will also feature exclusive bike parking and bike lanes inside the exhibition hall for all riders to utilize. Open to the public. DH Thailand Gravity Series meeting #2. Mojo’s Santacruz Bike Parks by Ride Cycle. New Downhill and Enduro style series in Thailand that will have accumulative points for riders participating in all meetings in the year. Tracks are located in Khao Yai Thiang (near Lam Thakong in Sikhio district) and Khao hen Lek Fai (Hua Hin). Location of meeting #2: Khao hen Lek Fai (Hua Hin), Prachuap Khiri Khan province. 9 – 12 Thursday thru Sunday: Chonburi

Chonburi Bike For Life. Location: Central Plaza Shopping Center, Sukhumvit Road, Chonburi province. Different brands of bicycle, both import and export products. Bicycle parts and accessories from 25 shops and bicycle-related activities at the event. Open to the public. No entrance fees.

10 – 12 Friday thru Sunday: Bangkok

ACC Track Asia Cup 2014 – Thailand. Organized by Thai Cycling Association (TCA). Location: Velodrome Huamark, Bangkok, Thailand. ELITE and JUNIOR category teams from around Asia will compete. Qualifying Rounds on Friday from 0900 until 1220. Opening ceremony at 1500 on Friday. FRIDAY events: Scratch, Omnium, Individual Pursuit, Sprint, and Points Race will be held from 1530 until 2030. SATURDAY events: Scratch, Omnium, Individual Pursuit, Sprint, Points Race, and 500m/1km TT will be held from 1100 until 1930 (with qualifying rounds from 0900 until 1100 with a break for lunch). SUNDAY events: Scratch, Sprint, Omnium, Team Sprint, Keirin, Team Pursuit, and Points Race from 1030 until 2220 (with qualifying rounds from 0900 until 1030 with a break for lunch). 11 – Saturday: Samut Songkhram to Ratchaburi

NICH 200km Team Race 2014. The first racing event organized by NICH CYCLING. Start time: 6:30am. Start Location: PTT Gas Station on Rama 2 Road in Khlong Khon, Mueang Samut Songkhram district, Samut Songkhram province. Finish Location: Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi province. View the STRAVA route here. Teams will ride from Samut Songkhram to Phetchaburi, Kaeng Krachan National Park, and finally to Suan Phueng. Categories: Racers must enter with a TEAM of 5 people. Teams will be released at 3-minute intervals from the start location. Time starts when 5th member of the team leaves the start line and time stops when 5th member of the team crosses the finish line. MTB Enduro Race #2 at Khao E-TO. Thailand’s second MTB Enduro race that uses the same timing standard as the World Enduro Series by SPORTident. Location: Khao E-TO mountain, Prachinburi province. How to get to Khao E-TO. Categories: Elite Men (Age : 18-29), Elite Women (Age : 18-29), Master A (Age : 30-38), Master B (Age : 39 up), Junior (Age : under 18). SIAM Alleycat. Alleycat style race around Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. Location: SIAM Alleycat booth at Siam discovery Center, 989 Rama 1 road, Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. The Tour of Hope 2014. The Udon Thani to Chiang Mai route is option 1 of this vehicle-supported charity ride comprising riders from Europe and Asia. Funds raised from the ride will be used to build a library and to donate bicycles to a school in Northern Thailand. Come and join this international group. Enjoy yourself in good company and nice riding while doing some good for those less fortunate. Learn more about this event. Location: Udon Thani – Chiang Mai. Fee: all riders must pay tour fee as well as raise a minimum donation amount to be given to charity. Categories: there is no specific requirement. A DAY Bike Fest 2014. Very popular bicycle expo show presented by A DAY magazine, supporting sponsors, and most importantly, members of the Thai cycling community. 8 – Saturday: Prachuap Khiri Khan

Hua Hin Alleycat. Start Location: Phon King Phet Park, Amphoe Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. GPS – N 12.568057, E 99.956783. Checkpoint to checkpoint courier/messenger style night race for all the mashers, trickers, and hipsters. Additional race details will be released in the Hua Hin Alleycat FaceBook group. 16 – Sunday: Rayong to Chanthaburi

World Travel Joy East Coast Challenge 2014. Thailand’s largest long-distance cycling competition along the East Coast. Competitors will cycle from Rayong to Chanthaburi province. The race is part of fundraising whereby all proceeds go towards tuition and developing local schools in Rayong and Chantaburi provinces. View World Travel Joy East Coast Challenge 2014 video. Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2014. Asia’s premier destination triathlon featuring a unique 1.8K swim, 55K bike and 12K run through spectacular tropical scenery. Individual Registration will open for 600 entries after that only waiting list registration will be accepted until 10 November 2014.

Challenge Laguna Phuket 2014. This is the first Asian event of the globally expanding Challenge Family series of events. Challeneg is a half IronMan distance event (1.9K swim – 90K bike – 21K run). Challenge Laguna Phuket will be the culmination point of the 10-day Challenge Tri-Fest that also features the the Laguna Phuket Triathlon on 23 November 2014. Angkor Wat Bike4Kids 2014. This charitable bike event is now in its ninth year, and will take place on Saturday 6th December 2014 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Angkor Wat Bike4Kids! Event is organized by Village Focus International (VFI) and Terre Des Hommes – Netherlands (TDH-NL) and hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia. We encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to cycle through the beautiful temple complex of Angkor Wat to help raise funds for local charities that provide life-changing support to vulnerable children and survivors of human trafficking. In-Person registration will be open from October 24 to 26, 2014 at Chockchai Farm (Nakhon Ratchasima) and at Central Court Zone in CentralWorld Mall (Bangkok). Phrae Drift King 1st Championship. This Championship will include three separate competitions: King of Fast (with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies awarded), King of Drift (only 1 trophy awarded), and Group of Drift (only 1 trophy awarded). Registration fee of 500 THB includes T-shirt, race badge number, breakfast, lunch and dinner for one day. Water and ice will be free to all competitors throughout the event. Rules of the competition will be given out on December 13th. Registration open all day on December 13th and practice runs of the course can be done on the same day from 9am until 5pm (0900-1700). Official race will be held on the 14th starting at 9am. Party and awards presentation will be had at conclusion race, about 5pm. Ride with Irish pro cycling champion Sean Kelly from Bangkok to Phuket. SpiceRoads Cycle Tours is pleased to announce that legendary pro cycling champion Sean Kelly will be returning to Thailand on a SpiceRoads tour from Bangkok to Phuket, Thailand. Distance: 924km in eight cycling days. This special road bike tour is designed for cyclists who want to push themselves and at the same time have an opportunity to ride with a former professional cyclist. The Ride with Sean Kelly tour cost is US$3,000 and will be fully supported by air-conditioned vehicles, with water, sports drinks and snacks provided during the ride. Riders can bring their own bikes, or rent a Trek Domane 2.3 road bike from SpiceRoads for US$250, or a carbon Trek Emonda S5 for US$350.
