This annual MTB race on the resort island of Samui has grown in popularity over the years, drawing not only the island’s local MTB crowd but plenty of knobby tire crews from all over Thailand. The course is usually well planned in order to get the maximum ups and downs on offer from the island’s terrain. Local riders tend to dominate the course because of their home field advantage, but every once in awhile a rider from the mainland steals the show.
