Our first Top Pick Event of 2015 is the Samui Cross Country 1st Event. Starting the new year with a new, and fresh event seems like a great idea. And it doesn’t hurt that this cross country race is being held on the beautiful destination Island of Samui. Koh Samui has played host to several annual MTB and Triathlon events in the past but it appears that this cross country race will be the first to be ridden on the revamped Mae Nam Track. Several rider categories, inexpensive registration fees, and short distance trail laps are sure to attract MANY local and visiting mountain bikers to this event. If you have trouble locating the Mae Nam Track, you could always drop in and visit the Mae Nam Bicycle Shop and ask directions. Keep in mind that trail conditions are always a bit sandy out on the islands. View this and other great cycling events in Thailand on our EVENTS calendar page.
