Route: Westerly route that takes you from the large city of Surat Thani into the mountains of the Khao Sok National Park area, from the Gulf of Thailand towards the Andaman Sea.

Length: 117km

Configuration: Point to point.

Start point: Highway 41 in Surat Thani.
Start your ride at any one of Surat Thani’s budget, boutique, or luxury hotels in the area of Highway 41. There is also a large Tesco Lotus shopping center near the start point of this route in case you need to purchase some supplies and/or foodstuffs.
End point: Entrance to Khao Sok National Park. The end point of this route brings you directly to the main area of the entrance to Khao Sok National Park that has many guest houses and smaller hotels and restaurants that cater to park visitors.

Notes:  On this route you will cycle through Khao Sok National Park. There are plenty of roadside shops along this route where you can purchase drinks and snacks. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views through this spectacular National Park. Plan to stay at the National Park for at least one day of your cycling trip as the park has many great activities on offer, such as trekking, rafting, elephant riding, and more. Make time for a visit to Cheow Lan Lake. Roads – 98% paved, 2% dirt.
