The next “Bangkok Car Free Day” will take place on Sunday 22nd September 2013. On this day, the BMA has organized art exhibitions, car free activities and a bicycle parade. The aim of the car free day is to encourage people to use public transport or bicycles instead of driving. On Sunday there will be a bicycle parade from Sanam Luang to CentralWorld to convince people that pedal power is better than wasting your money on gas. In addition, much of Rattanakosin old city will be declared a car-free zone for the day. More details on this soon.
