Hi Tony,

I have a condo in Pattaya and am looking for an electric bike to get around town on. I have downloaded your brochure but have some questions.

I need to take the battery out and charge it in my condo as there is no facility at all to use a power point in the car park. Can the batteries be removed easily on any or all of your types of bikes?

Can any of your bikes have a rear seat fitted to take a passenger a short distance on the back (not up hills)?

Will I be able to maintain the bike in Pattaya? In other words, is there a service shop in Pattaya that can handle general maintenance?

Please confirm that you do not need a drivers license to ride one of your electric bikes.

It might be a good idea to list meeting point(s) and/or rides in the areas that the group intends to do on a daily/weekly/monthly basis seeing as how Bangkok is such a large place.

I am not sure if you can assist but I urgently require a Lithium ion battery for my colleagues SPEEDY VERSTIO bike.

He is currently on a cycling tour in Cambodia, but unable to fully participate as the battery couldn’t be shipped due to Air Safety regulations. I am writing on the off chance that you might be able to help us source one or point us in the direction of someone who might be able to assist? Please help if you can.

We are sorry to hear that your colleague is unable to continue his cycle tour in Cambodia. Yes, we are familiar with the fact that batteries are one of the controlled items that are not allowed to be shipped via Air method. In addition, the e-bike craze has not quite reached the country of Cambodia.

We have a source in Thailand that may have the battery that your friend is in need of, but we can not guarantee that it can be shipped from Thailand to Cambodia.

Hello,

I plan, in the middle of november till end of february 2017 come to Thailand again.

The first 2-3 weeks and the last 2-3 weeks I will stay in Bangkok the other time in Northern of Thailand Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai. Before two years I brought my own “normal” bicycle to Thailand it is in Chiang Rai.

Now I search to a really good E-Bike – in Germany I have one oft he best a “Flyer-Bike”.

Do you know where I get to rent – maybe to sale – a really good E-Bike???

You say you will be in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai so I would suggest you start with E-Bike (Chiang Rai) or the LA Bike shop in Chiang Mai.
