OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling Team keeps pace with leaders at Tour of Thailand
3 April 2013 – LOH Sea Keong and his teammates on the OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling Team kept pace with the race leaders in Stage 3 of The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand on Wednesday.
Seoul Cycling Team’s Cho Ho Sung led a group sprint across the line and was credited with the victory in the 190.5-kilometre stage, which concluded in Prachuap Khiri Khan. The OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling Team’s Goh Choon Huat (49th), Thomas Rabou (77th) and Loh Sea Keong (83rd) all finished safely in the pack and were credited with the same time of 4:35:59 as Cho.
The result means Loh retains eighth place in the General Classification, 56 seconds behind leader Mohd Saiful Anuar Aziz of Terengganu Cycling Team. Loh made history on Tuesday by capturing Stage 2 to mark the OCBC Singapore Pro Cycling Team’s first-ever Union Cycliste Internationale Tour stage win. Loh also currently ranks seventh in the Points Competition, which awards points based on riders’ performances in intermediate sprints.
Loh and his teammates continue their chase up the leaderboard in Thursday’s Stage 4, a 199.7-kilometre stage that takes the riders from Chumporn to Ranong.

Phuchong grabbed best ASEAN rider for second stage in a row.
Phuchond Sai-Udomsin, the number one rider of Thailand of T. Thailand team, has made a good job for grabbing the Best ASEAN rider for the second stage in a row Wednesday in the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand 2013.
Phuchong, 23, Air Sergeant from the Royal Air Force, finished this stage in 16th place
with 4.35.59 hours in the distance of 190.5 kilometers in front of Prachuap Kirikhan municipality, but it’s enough for him to the award.
While Thanawut Sanikwathi, became the best rider of Thailand (T. All Star team ) to pass the finishing line in 3rd position with 4.35.59 hours in the same time with the winner Cho Ho Sung of Seoul Cycling Team from Korea.
As the Best ASEAN rider still belongs to Rusli Amir Mustafa of Malaysian national team for the second stage in a row as well.
The fourth stage 199.7 kilometers from Chumphon to Ranong will start at Chumphon municipality to Ranong provincial administration at 09.00 am.
