The shop is run by a local who, like many, was involved in the sport and then found the need for a shop in the Kamala area. Kamala has a large riding community, with some 50 bicycle riders. The local Tessaban holds bi annual rides that promote national health days in Thailand. Racing information for those who are interested is also available. The shop owner and the local team are involved with the racing scene, some race days witnessing up to 300 riders. The shop is well stocked and the prices are reasonably cheaper than some UK shops as I’ve recently discovered. English is spoken by the owner and his wife. They sell and service most makes and models of bikes. New bike brands on the floor are Merida, Giant, Polygon, Scott and Element. Both MTB and roadies are catered for here. If you’re looking for bicycle sales or service in Phuket then give Kamala bicycle shop a try.

It’s not my shop. They have various second hand bikes for rent from 150 to 250 per day. Best to visit them.
