Believed to be the first commercial tour company to offer cycling trips in Thailand, the Pedalers Pub & Grille team began introducing touring cyclists to the beauty and intrigue of Thailand in 1987. Their first trip, a northern route from the ancient city of Ayuthaya to the city known as the rose of the north, Chiang Mai, brought guests off the beaten path through small villages where the everyday life, architecture, cuisine, and hospitality of the Thai people could be experienced first hand.

While the frequency and variety of tours has increased at Pedalers, their approach to cycle touring and local interaction has not changed since that first trip. With a focus on cultural understanding interwoven into every one of their distinctive trips, Pedalers set themselves apart by providing their guests with top shelf quality at reasonable pricing that falls well within the reach of most cyclists.

Because of its practices Pedalers has created a fine niche for itself, settled comfortably on the middle ground between lower cost local Thai touring companies and the deluxe international companies.  But just because they don’t consider themselves deluxe doesn’t mean that they haven’t been noticed for their own particular flavor of touring excellence.

The team at Pedalers Pub & Grille offers both scheduled tours during the dry season in Thailand, as well as private departures year round. Custom tours can be arranged upon request. And for those of you who are wondering … sorry, there is no restaurant named Pedalers Pub & Grille. It’s just a unique name for a unique bike touring company.
