Hi all,

I'm looking for a reasonable economical repair stand, e.g. X-Tools Home Mechanic Prep Stand, Tacx T3075 Cycle Motion Stand or similar.  Does anyone know whereabouts  in Bangkok I can get it?

Gadget Bike (also called Cycling Model) or Bike Boulevard both sell Park Tool stands - not the cheapest choice for a bike repair stand but they're top quality and last for years. You can find their addresses/contact info on our Bike Shops in Bangkok page - http://bicyclethaila...ngkok-thailand/

 

Not sure who sells Tacx or X-Tools in Bangkok (or even Thailand). You may be able to find something from IceToolz but I don't know of any shops that stock them all of the time. You may have to special order one.

 

Also, sometimes expats living in Bangkok sell repair stands (of various brands) on FaceBook groups like Buy n Sell Bicycle n Parts Thailand -  https://www.facebook...icyclethailand/

I just saw a bike repair stand for 2,600 Thai Baht in the shop at Bike Service Thailand. They have a FaceBook page here -

Not sure if it is the type of stand you're looking for, but it looks solidly built and is priced much lower than some of the name brand stands.
