Hi…First time poster here. Fantastic site!

 

I’ll be driving from Surat Thani to Issan, passing thru these cities, where I hope I can find what I want:

 

Chumphon,

Samut Songkhram,

Bang Bon,

Bang Khae,

Saraburi,

Nakhon Ratchasima,

Khon Kaen,

Udon Thani,,,,

 

I want to buy a trike/tricycle, the kind with a huge basket in the back, for an elderly person. Big seat. Internal hub or derailleur.

I’ve done a search of these forums, and can only find “drift trikes”

 

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Your best chance of finding an adult trike is to check into any branch of LA Bike Shops in Thailand. This chain of bike shops carries LA bicycle brand as well as others.

 

There is an LA Bike Shop located in the provinces of Chumphon, Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin city), Phetchaburi, andNakhon Ratchasima.

 

The LA Bike brand is manufactured in Thailand (main center is located in Nakhon Pathom) and their retail shops should have a catalog of available models of trikes, even if they do not have exactly what you're looking for in stock when you visit.

 

I would venture that there is an LA Bike Shop in Udon Thani as well, but am unaware of its location. If you happen to find it, please let us know.
