That article brought a response from an expat gentleman living in Chiang Mai Thailand who was developing young Thai cyclists on the velodrome located at 700 years stadium.
After meeting with him and learning of his efforts to fund the repair of the velodrome, assist cyclists with finding loaner Track bikes, and giving his own time to coach young hopefuls we were more than happy to release an article in 2012 detailing his accomplishments. Included in the article is a downloadable booklet entitled Riding The Velodrome At The Chiang Mai 700th Anniversary Stadium - with best wishes from the British multiple world and Olympic sprint and keirin champion, Sir Chris Hoy

As of April 2015 the author of the above article is still lending his time and knowledge to the development of Track cyclists in Chiang Mai.
