I plan to cycle from Si Sa Ket south to the 2248 and then cycle around the boarder with Cambodia and then Laos keeping to the minor roads. Does anyone know it there is likely to be accommodation at regular intervals on this route in places such as Nam Yuen and Buntharik?

I will not be carrying a GPS and not too fit and do not speak Thai.

There is some great information in there, my wife and I cycled every province in Thailand, it's great fun and from reading your blog sounds like you had a grea time.
